Third presidential term

Several hundreds of Americans always asked him to run for a third term in office according to Trump.

In my view  the country needs much more time before thinking about a third presidential term.  I’m focused on the current.”

The 22nd Amendment starts with its prohibition on presidential elections above two terms with these exact words:  “No person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice.”

The White House stated after the broadcast release of Mr. Trump’s interview said that he was committed to his present term before declaring another term too premature at this stage.

White House communications director Steven Cheung issued a statement announcing that Americans greatly support President Trump as well as his America First principles.

Why He declines the term ‘ Third presidential term’

Neither self-kingship, nor his predisposition for authoritarian leadership, nor his governance tactics, which experts regard to as autocratic behaviors, exist solely in interviews, but are clearly obvious in his activities previous to this proclamation.

Mr. His supporters have strengthened the possibility of Trump seeking another presidential term.

Three days after Mr. Representative Andy Ogles of Tennessee initiated to amend the Constitution, so Mr. Trump could run for a third presidential term when Trump took his oath for the second time.

The pathway for implementing such change becomes extremely difficult since Congress needs approval from two-thirds of its members then three-fourths of states need to pass it.

Democrats at Congress have presented a resolution to stop possible anomalies  to the two-term limit because they fear such legislative measures may be enacted.

During the interview Ms. Welker spoke about several occasions when she heard Mr. Trump was joking about running for a third term.  Mr.  Trump openly expressed that he looked seriously running the nation for a third term.

He adamantly denied the joke when asked “I’m not joking.”

Mr. Trump stated during the interview with Ms. Welker that he had not received plans but argued “there are methods which you could do it.”

The interview pointed out  that JD Vance could serve first as presidential candidate in 2028 before swapping  his position for Donald Trump in the White House.  Mr.  Trump clearly mentioned that this situation as a valid approach to achieving it.

He added more strategies apart from that one.  “There are others.”  During the interview Mr. Trump refused to specify any potential candidates.

Derek T.  The 22nd Amendment covers the resistance from expert Muller who teaches law at the University of Notre Dame since it states “electing” as its requirement but fails to talk about presidential succession.

A third term presidential candidacy faces challenges because the 12th Amendment stands as an obstacle according to Mr.  Muller.

According to him the 12th Amendment prevents any person who doesn’t have the presidential eligibility from running for vice-president of the United States.

According to Mr. Muller this course of events would not create the conditions for Mr. Trump to pursue a third presidential term.

According to him it would require many inch-perfect conditions to make this plan somewhat workable on top of its complicated legal framework.
