FORGIVENESS: TRUMP TWEETS POWERFUL WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT TO UCLA BASKETBALL PLAYERS

This week, 3 UCLA basketball players returned home after their infamous trip in China where they robbed various gift shops and were subsequently put into custody.

Luckily for them, our strong President was also in China and he worked his magic to get them released from the grips of the Chinese. According to Trump, they were facing up to 10 years in prison.

Yesterday, the 3 young men THANKED President Trump in a press conference. It was actually a very cool thing to see, as appreciation for Trump seems to be a rarity these days.

Upon seeing their gratitude, Trump posted these powerful words of encouragement to Twitter:

To the three UCLA basketball players I say: You’re welcome, go out and give a big Thank You to President Xi Jinping of China who made…..

….your release possible and, HAVE A GREAT LIFE! Be careful, there are many pitfalls on the long and winding road of life!

“To the three UCLA basketball players I say: You’re welcome, go out and give a big thank you to President Xi Jinping of China who made your relate possible and, HAVE A GREAT LIFE! Be careful, there are many pitfalls on the long and winding road of life!”, Trump tweeted.

In case you missed it, here was their apology and ‘thank you’ to Trump yesterday:

Hopefully these young men learn from their mistakes and move forward. And, just because they were released from China doesn’t mean that they’re going without punishment.

According to multiple media outlets, they are suspended indefinitely from playing basketball at UCLA (via ESPN):

UCLA freshmen LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill have been suspended from the basketball team indefinitely after returning from a trip to China, where they were held for shoplifting.

“They will have to earn their way back,” UCLA coach Steve Alford said during a news conference Wednesday.
